In June 2009, his String Quartet in A minor was premiered at the Church of St. John the Evangelist in Boston. In October 2009, his operatic program - Cafeteria Rusticana: an evening of Mad Libretto Opera - featured reworkings of scenes from Puccini with new music and audience-supplied words, turning the libretto into a Mad Lib.
